Hey! I'm Aaron. I'm glad you stopped by.
I'm a Florida-raised, Seattle-based 2009 graduate of Berklee College of Music, where I studied Electronic Production & Design. In the spring of that year, the Berklee faculty awarded me the Robert Moog Award. I've been playing piano since I was six, and writing music since I was twelve. My musical influences include Frank Zappa, Soft Machine, Brian Eno, Francis Lai and J Dilla.
I also write music under the name "Air and Sea." I like really long songs that evolve over time, vocal harmony and cohesive albums. I DJ'ed for a few years at Boston's WRBB, and worked for a while as a lab monitor at Berklee's Turntable Lab. Most of the time I sequence in Logic Studio, and edit/mix in Pro Tools.
I'm almost violently enthusiastic about video games. My current favorites are Skyward Sword, Limbo, Shadow of the Colossus, and Deadly Premonition. When I'm not making sounds, I program in Max/MSP/Jitter, read up on microbrewing, or watch Mystery Science Theater 3000.
